General
PhoneVerify is a free and powerful REST API that provides national and international phone number validation, based on the most recent international numbering plan databases.
We believe every online business that uses customer phone numbers should verify them to ensure smooth delivery and reduce bounced messages. That's why we offer 250 monthly verification requests for free — no credit card required. Sign up for a free API access key here.
PhoneVerify is built to help developers, startups, and large companies automate and outsource complex processes by providing application-specific, user-friendly programming interfaces.
Our basic goal is to offer quick and easy access to software that improves your application development and eases the load on your back-end.
Sources & Data
We offer phone number format validation for all mobile and landline numbers, in both national and international formats, across 232 countries. It's based on the most up-to-date international numbering plans and returns:
- Complex syntax rules
- Carrier data
- Line type data
- Approximate location information
With this system, we guarantee the highest level of quality, reliability, and accuracy for every validation result.
Definitely yes. We understand your API requests may contain sensitive data — that's why paid customers can access the API and all processed data via industry-standard 256-bit HTTPS encryption. See the Documentation for details.
In no case do we process or store phone numbers for any purpose other than verification. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
API Access & Features
Each registered user has a personal Access Key — a unique "password" used to access and request the PhoneVerify API. Once signed in, you'll find it in your Account Dashboard and in all interactive links throughout the documentation.
You can reset your Access Key at any time from your Account Dashboard.
Choosing the most suitable subscription plan is based on the number of monthly API requests you need. Accessing any PhoneVerify API data type using a valid Access Key counts as one "API request".
When you reach 75%, 90%, and 100% of your allowed monthly API requests, you'll get automatic notifications by email and in your account dashboard.
Since requirements can vary, a plan's request volume can be exceeded by up to 20% — for example, the Professional plan's actual hard limit is 60,000 instead of 50,000. This will not lead to additional charges.
Plans, Pricing & Payment
If you want to try things out first, our Free Plan is a trial with no time limit, offering 250 monthly API requests.
Paid subscription plans give you significantly higher request volumes, secure data streams via 256-bit HTTPS encryption, unlimited prioritized support, and other essential API features.
To test the API and get a feel for the product, simply choose the Free Plan.
Once you need more than 250 API requests per month and more professional features, it's worth choosing one of the paid plans, starting at $14.99 per month — or get a 20% discount by paying annually.
